The Mumbai Police argued that further custody is necessary to complete their investigations at a Mumbai court where they had been produced on Friday. The Mumbai Police say they confronted Meiyappan with the contents of his diary. The diary contains notations of several meetings. Why court extends innocent peoples custody period , that also when they don't have any evidence.

Delhi commissioner of police Neeraj Kumar did not confirm whether Trivedi would be a prosecution witness. ESPNcricinfo understands Trivedi had declined multiple approaches by bookies and had also reported an approach by a bookie to the Anti Corruption and Security Unit in during IPL 2012. Last year, Trivedi was among more than a dozen cricketers approached by undercover India TV reporters acting as bookies during a sting operation and was among those who turned them away. :two_thumbs_up:

Entire bCCI should be reprimanded. Other cricket boards are bunch of cowards and greedy not to take a stance against BCCI. After all it is their players getting involved in a billion dollar fix league.
