On top of that they pass on team info to other betters/friends who bet/bookies. How much dumber can they get? However, legally, if all they did was bet with no intent to fix, it is punishable but not grievous. If any fixing intent can be established it becomes much more serious, IMO. For their own sake, let's hope they didn't fix or attempt to fix the matches.
