International cricket do not have so many controversies like IPL. Lets face it' date= IPL governing council is a failure and we see growing controversies every year, let it be Spot fixing, drug case, slapgate and what not. And all this shame for what? A t'20 league which runs for 2 months having stopped all international games? Definitely not worth. It did not help Indian cricket it any way and only increases the grid and rift among players.

Not sure if serious. I think spot fixing happens all the time in international cricket, especially when smaller teams are involved. Its an easy way to make money for cricketers who otherwise wouldnt get paid much. It doesnt get exposed easily.

Thats more to do with poor form of others than him being selected. Mumbai created some flat pitches this season. I ankit's batting probably got him in he is already 27-28. So not a young man in the context of cricket.

Being 27 is not really an issue. Stuart Binny is a contender at the same age. Chavan was a handy batsman and a good fielder as well.

It's no longer about good/bad. It can happen for even for 4-5 runs over as well.
