privileged to witness his free flow 60 odd i think at kotla 2010 in the ipl,his 35th ton vs lanka in 2005 ..great memories :hatsoff:

I've always believed that the only reason MI picked him in their roster was to sell tickets, he's a crowd puller. MI always had a strong team, he was the only thing holding them back, mainly due to his poor captaincy but also as a player in recent years. With him gone I'm sure MI will win more titles in the coming years.

Can i bring the list of players who failed miserably as openers for MI? Yeah right because he would have done worse than Tare making a first ball duck! Fact is, we won more matches when he laid a solid platform and most of the matches MI lost was when their opening pair failed and the failure happened more often when Sachin was not playing

He is just not captaincy material. I remember his decision to send Harbhajan at no.3 or 4 in the 2010 IPL final which cost them the game. All of his matchwinning innings were in league matches, the only two times MI managed to win trophies he wasn't playing which should tell you something. As great as he was, he's been riding on past glory for at least a couple of years now.

You are just criticizing for the sake of criticizing here. No one is criticizing that Dhoni coming at no 7 cost his team the game? My point is, he has been no better or worse than a lots of player in IPL but the special kind of hate reserved for Sachin particularly on this forum is surprising
