vvvslaxman Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 ricky pointing has different thoughts. http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/587186.html Who do you think will progress from Group B, among India, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies? South Africa and India. Unless some breathtaking individual performances India won't get there. Franly we don't have many.
jalebi_bhai Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 :giggle: @vvs Might as well open with Mooli. KKD has not been good for MI recently. I think you misunderstood.....I'm not trolling here.....they will definitely be suffering from fatigue.......I'm worried......heading back to Dubai during CT.......gonna watch match against padosis with friends at a sports bar.........don't want to face humiliation......:nervous:.......getting trolled by padosis is like suffering from leprosy............
jalebi_bhai Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 People conveniently forget that part. That was during the ODI series in July-August.....conditions are less seam-swing friendly during that time.....
vvvslaxman Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Btw is this the first time we are playing a multinational tournament (more than 5 nations) without yuvraj in years? Yuvraj 1321 runs averaging 44.03 at a strike rate of 88.06 in multinational tournaments behind Tendu, Gangu, Azhar, Viru. Then comes Gauti, Dhoni, Raina around 700 runs.. We are going to miss a gun multination tournament player :(
SLICKR392 Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Finally. Team selection could have been far better by dropping Vinay and picking either Shami and Mohit.
bhumika Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 ^^ But yuvraj is not that fit after the cancer. It really taken toll on his body.
vvvslaxman Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 ^^ But yuvraj is not that fit after the cancer. It really taken toll on his body. True.. i don't say he should have been selected.. But his absence will definitely be felt. Calm , cool, collected finisher. Even in the world T20 he was the only one who shone in England.

FischerTal Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Finally. Team selection could have been far better by dropping Vinay and picking either Shami and Mohit. :agree: mohit would be really lethal
vvvslaxman Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Seeing Uthappa's performance in domestic List A tournament.. wonder why he was overlooked. He was the top run getter this season :hmmm:
jalebi_bhai Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 ^^ But yuvraj is not that fit after the cancer. It really taken toll on his body. I blame the selectors and the administration.......they simply rushed him back.........Yuvraj was not ready to make his comeback......should've played an entire Ranji Season before even being considered......
jalebi_bhai Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 :agree: mohit would be really lethal How are his first class and list-A figures?
vvvslaxman Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 che has a List A average of 56.97 yea.. another candidate they could have picked. I thought he was injured at the time of team announcement.
vvvslaxman Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Pujara List A average this season is 361.00 lol 3 matches 361 runs
FischerTal Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 yea.. another candidate they could have picked. I thought he was injured at the time of team announcement. they had a list of 30 probables. he was playing for rcb. im pretty sure they knew he would be fit by CT
cowboysfan Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I think we will do well,we might not win it but we will surprise a lot of teams.
FischerTal Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 How are his first class and list-A figures? good fc average but not List A
vvvslaxman Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 Rohit sharma played 1 List match scored a duck. But he gets a chance based on his six hitting skills against David Hussey  This is our LIst A performance this season.
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 I will be happy if we break the jinx against Pakistan
