Shukla is bowling only in the 130's. He's not fast as yadav. He's medium pace.
he touched 146 in IPL same as Yadav's first season..i think he is younger than Yadav too. Looks similar build.. let us see

he is not in the radar now...so we might have to wait for another season.
Seems to be trying far to hard to get near 140. Thats why radar was off. To me does not have natural pace, someone busting a gut to get pace. Not sustainable

My choice of our pacers' pool It should consist of 3 types of pacers to take care of different conditions 1) genuine quicks, 2) Skilled pacers who are preferably atleast fast medium 3) tall bouncy pacers who are atleast fast medium 1) Umesh, Aaron, Suyal, Shukla 2) Bhuvneshwar, Dhawal, Shami, Kaul, 3) Ishant ( in the absence of any other )

Shukla is like awana but he added pace before he was 135k bowler who could touch 140' date=' now he can hit 146k.[/quote'] no dude, Shukla was state mate of Aaron they were known to bowl fast for their team together..just that Shukla has worse action.

Pankaj maybe a good choice but for reasons unknown to us ,he is not even considered for the A team. I have not seen Mohit in a 5 day or even 50 overs game. As his choice will be as a skilled fast-medium pacer, I want to see his skill and pace in atleast a Ranji match.

Pankaj ios better bet, Mohit is a bit suspect in unhelpful conditions...

but there is no guarantee if he will be a brett lee or a mitchell johnson. does that mean in waiting for Aaron to succeed' date=' we deny opportunity to people like Mohit?[/quote'] Yes, it's called supporting your fast bowlers. You don't just discard a player when he gets injured. Aaron is a very rare bowler - Bowls at great pace, can move the ball AND has a great front foot block. Guys like Mohit are chumps compared to that.

Pankaj on merit deserves a spot in the test squad and has the game to succeed, better then all the bowlers as I have seen him bowl last year, Shami next in terms of talent and potential, Aaron and Umesh are already regulars when fit, I would want Shukla, Suyal,Shami in A team also, India's best test bowling lineup should be, Umesh, Bk, Ishant,Pankaj,Shami also Suyal is promising and a left armer. Odi lineup BK, Aaron, Shami, Umesh, VK,Irfan, also for T20 youngsters should be tested pace and ability to bowl good Yorkers and short ones being criteria for picking good options, Shukla, Suyal, Aaron, Umesh should be looked at and trained for the purpose.
