There is a difference beween Star & Actor You both are right- They don't get the credit they deserve & Bollywood is all about stars. The reason why 70% of the movies suck there! Rahul Bose's a good actor Konkana Sen Nana is not underrated but Om Puri, Nasurdeen Shah, Manoj Vajpayee, Shabana Azmi etc.. Well, literally almost all the theatre artists are underrated. Its in Bengali movies where they truely appreciate good actors rather than their super stars.

They may not be superstars, but then that's how it is. But they are not underrated by any means. Some truly underrated actors that deserve more appreciation: Pavan Malhotra: He is usually brilliant in any role and his performance in Black Friday was superb. But he never got his share of good roles or the appreciation he deserves. Pankaj Kapor: A very powerful performer, but very under explored and under appreciated. Anu Kapoor: Mot people know him for his monkey-like acts as Antakshari anchor, but he is a good actor that never got his share of opportunities. Raghuvir Yadav: Started with Mungerilal ke Haseen Sapne on DD, but never got much opportunity after that.

akshayxyz Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 @OP. As others said, they are all great actors - accepted by almost everyone. Btw, in the last scene between KayKay and CID boy ('Abhijeet').. CID boy delivered better performance, his part was more difficult than KayKay's - and he did full justice in expressing the emotions of a 'jihadi'. With that, perhaps this might be his best ever performance.
