singhprakash72 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Problem is not his alone...no one in Indian team having any weakness has time or commitment to correct it...Just one question how much of real coaching (Not training) these folks ever do !
maniac Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 P[roblem is he has been found out....Jaddu is a similar player too...wait till people actually start considering him a threat and planning for him.
G_B_ Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 P[roblem is he has been found out....Jaddu is a similar player too...wait till people actually start considering him a threat and planning for him. i would like to believe that Kirsten planned for everybody. SA today used the short ball way too much for Dhawan and Rohit.
DomainK Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 i would like to believe that Kirsten planned for everybody. SA today used the short ball way too much for Dhawan and Rohit. Because of the age old reliable fact that Indians can't handle short stuff, especially of directed towards the rib cage. It was heartening to see the Indians play the pull and hook shots so well today. Indian cricket is changing.
jusarrived Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 It wasnt a short ball and he dint play it like one .
Stuge Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Raina would have been an ATG batsman if under-arm bowing was the norm. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Just because two bouncers per over are allowed does not mean you have to utilize them. This might bode well for India. Sides bowl short at us and we expect them to bowl there. A good bowling attack v India will disguise their shorter balls among line and length. I feel India wont do too well against somebody like D Bravo. He is one bowler who has a knack of surprising batsman with a bouncer.
Sandeep99 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 This guy is turning into a garbage, if not already

South Africans today, in the absence of their spearhead were too predictable.
vvvslaxman Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Raina is still one of the most violent hitter we have at the death.. He can go from the word go. Despite his flaws once he gets a start he can destroy any bowling.
carnish Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Raina will answer all his haters in the next game against Pakistan. Aane Do :aggressive:
Lord Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Raina will answer all his haters in the next game against Pakistan. Aane Do :aggressive: next is against bhindies
G_B_ Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 regardless we dont have options in this squad. Will play Raina over Vijay and there is no other option. Plus Raina is a good fielder and can chip in with the ball. However i do question taking him to WC 2015 if there is no improvement in his game outside india.
maniac Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Raina will get pwned against WI pacemen...infact WI seamers even in this era have the best and accurate bouncers among all teams....He might do well against Pak though with the exception of Irfan
CSK Fan Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 next is against bhindies Roach says hi to Raina. This dude even bounced Ponting out
G_B_ Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Depends what sort of pitch is served up at the Oval. India have not played there and based on the warm ups, the ground its the most bowler friendly of the lot. In Raina's favour Oval is a small ground all around the park. (ie even the longest boundaries are not that long) might be best for him he is just backs himself and goes for his shots. It might come of. Roach Rampaul Bravo Naraine Russell/Sami

carnish Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 next is against bhindies He will score a 20-odd against windies ... Will score a hundred against Pak i.e. if he gets a good run in the middle
G_B_ Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 I dont think WI are giant killers cause they are giants themselves. Cant see a single chink in their armour. Spinners Samuels Narine, Pacers, Batting depth way down the order. On paper WI >>>> India

On paper WI >>>> India They lack consistency...same way Pak are favorites for many despite on paper having a lot of inexperienced and ttfs because of how they play in such tournaments. Not being a patriot here but no way in hell this WI team is better than India.
