Indian Fielding

Clearly the difference between the two teams was the fielding. India clearly for the first time were a better fielding side than SAF. With young fresh legs willing to dive and run, Indian fielding has saved quite a few runs and effected some valuable run outs and most importantly build a defensive mindset for opposition as far as running between the wickets are concerned. Jaddu and Raina needs a special compliment for their heroics. Credit to the coaches, fielders for a fabulous job. Hope they continue the same effort in future as well.

Coach or not.. they are all naturally good fielders mostly.. We also have a fast bowler who can field well. That is rare. Bhuvan.

Even Ashwin has improved in fielding. Only Ishant sucks at fielding. Rest are all good.

Both take their catches well. Just fielding part is sloppy. Umesh is fast but not a good fielder though.

If india are to win this tournament the fielding needs to cover for the horrible pace bowling. It sort of balances it out.

Srilankan was the best from subcontinent for a while. Nowadays India is better than them.

This is easily the best fielding line up we got. Kohli is shyte at slips though.
