Here is the thing though.. we always had potential to play like this.. the only difference is that most of our batters are clicking at the same time. And because rohit, kkd, dhawan are out there to prove something, they are really hungry.. Raina/Jaddu always play like this.. they give their 100%.... though Raina in first game and Virat in both games have failed IMO.. Bowling has only improved a little bit.. Ishant is still not delivering + Umesh is way too expensive So, far we have not done exceptionally well because SA were missing their key players in Steyn + Kallis + Smith + Morkel half the game.. + suicidal run outs, and they still came close to our total. WI game was easy to beigin with.. too dependent on few players Australia has declined so that warm up match doesnt count much.. Real test will be when we meet England.. but even that team is struck with injuries and out of form players. . Basically, we have picked up our game where other teams are either with their sub par team (SA, Eng) or they are on decline (Aus, WI, Pak)
vvvslaxman Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Yup.. when India is on a roll with collective clicking, they are pretty much unstoppable. Only their own bowling can derail them. After having a look at couple of warm up matches i thought India was going to have a mediocre tournament. Everyone stepped up in the main game. Especially the openers.

Openers were a treat to watch and they have truly set it up for us. If we reach final then yes I can say this team surpassed my expectation.

First I thought she was Shazahn Padamsee, later I ruled that out. Names kept fluctuating around in my head.. and now I finally know!
