Contributed to 2 T20 WC exits. That SRT 175 match. Again I am not holding him completely responsible but was a major culprit in all those games. As I said he has improved his bowling and I am definetely in on this SIR trend/Joke ,but the fact is he is mediocre who has gotten more chances than he deserved and beleive me no one else would have been persisted after being responsible to 2 big F'ups like that
Being a Rohit fan, you shouldn't be making this statement after the gazillions of failure he has had in the past.

so did Rohit by faling in Super 8s as a batsman in England.Ishant too was poor in both crucial matches.in 2010 Rohit failed v WI. but you'd ignore all that

Why Compare Player A to Player B to see who was a worse failure....Where am I not acknowledging jaddu's recent success....All I am saying is we are getting carried away calling him the best Spinner,Best Allrounbder in the world etc. He is just a bits-and -Pieces player who is having a good run in one of the departments. As I said earlier If Opposition underestimates him they will get out to him,If we over-estimate himn for eg;Play him ahead of say Ashwin as our specialist spinner in South Africa because of his supposed "batting" we are doomed.

for Tests Ashwin is still lead spinner for us. I dont see anyone calling him best spinner or best AR in the world. In ODIs he indeed has bowled as well as Ashwin, and certainly the better option if we go for one considering his batting and fielding.

As I said really good ODI bowler and fielder....Should be in the starting line up in ODI's.....:hatsoff: Should be 3rd spinner for tests(which means S.C) and kept away from T20I.

ODI-He was always a good ODI player but his T20 failures were overshadowing his ODI performance in critic's eyes, but now he is absolutely brilliant at what he does..Batting is still suspect,He is not a power hitter, more of a consolidator which is ok for ODI's T20-He is not a good fit for T20 as history suggests.....Even in IPL he wasn't that great if you look at that as a benchmark,There are better players to fill the slot,See above he is not a power Hitter. Tests-He is behind Ashwin and Ojha as a spinner,To be a test allrounder you need to be a good enough batsman and a good enough bowler....Sorry to say Jadeja is not a good test-level bat.His bowling is good as I said he is 3rd in the pecking order and apart from SC you wont need 3 Spinners anywhere, which means he will be be blocking a slot overseas.

T20 : you are stuck in the past.he can hit big now.see his two CT knocks and IPL knocks.he was damn good in this IPL,dunno what you are watching. Also fieg and lower order hitting comes handy in T20 a lot of times Tests: hes a good bowler imo.Ashwin is clearly our best Test bowler but if Jaddu continues to do well,he can replace Ojha as 2nd spinner imo.

In tests, he is the second best spinner after Ashwin. He has a test average of 19 and basically ran through the Aussie lineup. Clarke was his bunny. In ODIs after his comeback, he has done very well in Pak series, Eng series, CT and now this tri series. He averages something like 12 in ODIs with an economy rate of 3.5 this year. That's as good as any bowler in the world. He is also a very good hitter in ODIs. Some of his knocks like in Kochi ODI, CT game against SA and final have proven to be crucial. His fielding is also world class. I would say he is one of the best allrounders in world cricket right now.
