Apparently BCCI isn't happy with the schedule especially the gap between 2nd and 3rd tests (9 days currently), want the tour to finish early. The NZ tour starts on 25th Jan!

Waise bhi hamare players, kaun nsa practice mtches ko seriously lete hain. BCCI's problem is 2nd and 3rd test. @nd one ends on 6th Jan, 3rd one is from15th-19th. Perhaps the BCCI wants it to finish by 15th. Hope they do not cut down the 3rd test.

Most probably the gap will be reduced to 4-5 days.............unless of course, they know that India is going to be thrashed so they want to cut down one Test :--D

And in case we do have to play the Asia Cup, it means a very short New Zealand Tour. I guess, the third test could have been scheduled from Jan 11-15. Even if they wanted to give such a break, why not utilise that time and give India 3 day practice matches ... Who does the CSA schedules ... They don't even have a proper head running affairs.

off course they`ll be,too much gap for their liking b/w 2nd and 3rd test considering FTP and also too much gap b/w the last odi and 1st test for their liking, ideally bcci would have wanted 1 2-day warm up match and the last test to get started by 10th :giggle:
