special K Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 He'll score runs in Aus and get owned whenever he tours.
Scarves Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 He'll score runs in Aus and get owned whenever he tours. He scored a ton and a 90 in England, 92 in India and 77 against Pakistan in England. So what's the deal with that then?
jf1gp_1 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Smith is better than hacks like kohli and pujara.. Hope OP feels better now.
Old guy Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 He'll score runs in Aus and get owned whenever he tours. Just like Ian bell
Crookbond Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Last few Test match innings by SPD Smith No code has to be inserted here.
StriKe Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Playing match winning knock for Australia in semis
Vijy Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Man is in red-for form now... actually red-hot is too pale a word to describe his run.
Vijy Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Has anyone ever dominated us in this fashion? In tests: Many, many people. Hayden in 2001, Chanders in 1-2 tours, Vaughan in 1, Zaheer Abbas in 1, Andy Flower in 1, etc, etc.
Sidhoni Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 In tests: Many' date=' many people. Hayden in 2001, Chanders in 1-2 tours, Vaughan in 1, Zaheer Abbas in 1, Andy Flower in 1, etc, etc.[/quote'] He has done it across formats. And now it includes WC semi final too.
AmreekanDesi Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 he was playing on adfferent wcket just like aganst pakistan
HippoSucks Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 He is the world's best batsman right now according to the updated ICC player rankings in test matches.
brendan07 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 He is the world's best batsman right now according to the updated ICC player rankings in test matches. Probably a bit over the top. Top 3 yes, personally still have ABDV at the least ahead. Sangakara the other one. Williamson/Amla just below.
maniac Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 What the hell happened to my "Steve smith is not a hack thread" from a couple of years ago when he was considered a joke by a lot of icf experts. :hitler:

Williamson/Amla just below.[/quote'] I think it's a good rating. He has been performing this well from over 2 years now and has done it literally all over the world (India, UAE, South Africa, Australia, West Indies etc). de Villiers and Sangakarra have been performing well for longer, but there is no reason to not believe that Smith won't continue his current form for a few more years at least. I would personally have Rahane after these 3 (and Amla) because he has performed in difficult conditions recently.

Smith is a clutch player....abdv and amla don't have 1/10th of smiths temperament and smith is leagues ahead of sanga as a t20 and odi player
