Bk showing how flat it is arrey yaar now it is sunny so flat.ball swings under clouds in England.and it was swinging for all 3 bowlers.Thats how they got 3 wickets. even if it was flat,173-6 with match on the line is not an easy position at all. Even Atherton and Hussain praised his knock.they must be under BCCI payroll,right?:--D

It's a mutual opinion as long as Binny's future is concerned but when you haven't watched the 1st session, why bother commenting on it? Stop arguing for the sake of it.

Point is that it proves nothing as to wether he is test match all rounder. Proves NOTHING. Yet many suddenly jumping up and down like point proved and he is the man. This could be a nightamare and cost us any chance we have in the series as he will be in team now for a few matches!!! Remember Anderson and BK all scored more runs then him on this track and both are just bowlers

There is difference between pitch and weather conditions. Yes swung a bit but has most of match. Still easy to bat on, as shown by BK getting another 50

When he got in, we were looking at a certain loss and he did well to get us through that period,.

Its not as if hes replacing Kohli that it may cost him.As for his bowling he did nothing in the few overs he got but on a slightly seamer friendly he may do the job of 5th bowler.We have yet to see that. others got runs argument goes both ways.I'd rather compare him to guys who batted in same period and seeing that he did well.Anyway anytime someone saves game from a losing position,its not an easy knock simply due to the pressure

maniac Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Well played but still pointless...I mean Anderson,Bhuvan,shami,broad have played knocks in some capacity to help their teams cause so in that context wonderful innings by Stuart....the difference being all the other names mentioned actually bowled a lot of overs and contributed in some form where as Stuart binny was pointless in every other aspect. This 78 should qualify him as a batsman....but do you think he is good enough to make the side solely as a batsman? Don't think so

Our tail can wag, we can have stronger batting by ashwin instead of bits and pieces jadeja. KT, pitch was flat but a lot of others struggled. In the match situation, he played an awesome knock, defended really well, wore out the bowlers and got runs quick. despite some swing! More confident with binny than dhoni! Should he stay? I dont know but id say no. Rather have 4 genuine seamers and ashwin. But good we have an OPTION. Hope he improves. Hope dhoni goes so someone like saha can bat and keep and we dont need to be desperate for batting.
