yoda Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Anything to get him to retire, I am all for it even if it means sacrificing a full SAF series. However it looks like he will get his 200th test at Mumbai and still keep hogging a spot.

Raghav_12 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 wow.. Tendulkar hatred on all time high with distorted facts as well. People still dragging him in this whole thing when it is clear that he or his retirement hardly has anything to do with what scheduling or re-scheduling BCCI is doing.
Raghav_12 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 He will achieve lifetime test average of 47 :isalute: He doesn't play for stats :giggle:. He would do his best to help India perform better, even in process his average goes down to 47 or 37.

Raghav_12 Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 That 100th 100 against bong boys and then suddenly retiring from odis. Yeda samjha hain kya? :giggle: he retired at 49th centuries in ODI's :((. Would have loved to see him score 50th one.

People still dragging him in this whole thing when it is clear that he or his retirement hardly has anything to do with what scheduling or re-scheduling BCCI is doing. Did not the OP mention that the WI series could be his last? the two Tests against West Indies, likely to be played in Kolkata and Mumbai in November, will be a perfect stage for him to sign off in his hometown.
Iconoclast Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 lol @ bcci we're sorry we cant tour south africa right now ... this windies tour just crept up out of nowhere dhoni and company will be extremely thankful
CSK Fan Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 That 100th 100 against bong boys and then suddenly retiring from odis. Yeda samjha hain kya? :giggle: Yes because scoring a 100 in tests after that wouldnt have counted, right? Yeda samajhne ki zarrorat nahi jab khud hi prove karte rahte ho
saneindian Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Yes because scoring a 100 in tests after that wouldnt have counted' date= right? Yeda samajhne ki zarrorat nahi jab khud hi prove karte rahte ho 4th Jan 2011 - 2 years and 8 months and counting :((
Crookbond Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Sachin Tendulkar to NDTV: Will take it match-by-match http://sports.ndtv.com/cricket/sachin/news/213398-will-take-it-match-by-match-sachin-tendulkar-tells-ndtv In a text message to NDTV, Tendulkar said: "No reactions now...will take it match-by-match." The brief message quite sums up Tendulkar's mood. The 40-plus Tendulkar has always kept his fans guessing on his retirement plans and whether the West Indies will be his last is therefore not clear.
Old guy Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 4th Jan 2011 - 2 years and 8 months and counting :(( almost as bad as gambo :wall:
Sidhoni Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Sachin Tendulkar to NDTV: Will take it match-by-match http://sports.ndtv.com/cricket/sachin/news/213398-will-take-it-match-by-match-sachin-tendulkar-tells-ndtv 2 hi to match hai usme kya match by match
G_B_ Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 2 hi to match hai usme kya match by match and what else do you want him to say? had he said more it would be a case of Burkha Dutt calling a sort of assembly with various panel show personalities. With the Indian media you are better off keeping quiet. This is exactly why i sympathise with Sachin. The less he says the better. Even MSD backed away from picking his best Indian team. The reason being it was a trap simply to generate news from the people who he excluded. This is how it would work --- MSD would pick a team (and the anchor would force MSD to pick himself aka what happened Ganguly) --- Media outlets would publish and article about who MSD picked --- Columnists from media outlets would write up long articles being critical of MSD for players he left out The final outcome: masala news generated for a slow news day Feck the Indian media. These scum need to be kept in the dark as much as possible.
Lord Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 West Indies likely to play two Tests, three ODIs in India
Pagalpanti Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Sachin Tendulkar to NDTV: Will take it match-by-match http://sports.ndtv.com/cricket/sachin/news/213398-will-take-it-match-by-match-sachin-tendulkar-tells-ndtv What if Tendulkar screws BCCI over by announcing retirement after the 1st test.. now that would be funny
FischerTal Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Yes because scoring a 100 in tests after that wouldnt have counted' date=' right? Yeda samajhne ki zarrorat nahi jab khud hi prove karte rahte ho[/quote'] The post after yours proves who is the real yeda :nice:
Sachinism Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 over 100 posts of confusion. Somehow this is made about Tendulkar. Maybe people should try researching CSA-BCCI relationships before considering discussing this topic
rajmarie Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 BCCI flexing their useless muscle & proving how big is their ego..that they are ready to screw fans of Indian cricket team who have been eagarly waiting for exciting SA-Ind 3/4 test series. I have no interest in WI in India test series & really dont care what ever reasoning BCCI gives now. Hoping all WI tour of India matches are washed out (hopefully without a single ball being bowled).
Crookbond Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 CricketNDTV: Windies' tour of India will comprise a warm-up 3-day game, 2 Tests and 3 ODIs, to be played between 31 October 2013 and 27 November 2013.
