Thats a hacker club & they just chose a high profile target... to be fair, they claim that the whole biometric industry is a sham
The "club" has only shown that cracking iPhone Touch Id can be cracked - even the great wall of China can be broken down. The cost to do it is what defines the level of security.

^^ they got it horribly wrong. They cracked it with in a week or less. Also if you didnt know you can now make calls even if they phone is locked. you can international and local calls even if you phone is locked with IOS 7.
AND you can access photos from a locked screen. These are much pertinent security bugs which should be talked about rather than cracking Touch ID using 1000 USD infrastructure.

They have been active from last 6 years and have consistently opposed biometric ids.. Google translate their German articles on their opposition to biometric technology

So from a 4-digit (or no as 50% people don't use them) you now require - physical access to the phone' date=' 2400 dpi resolution image of the fingerprint, 1200 dpi laser printer and transparent sheet, pint latex milk or white woodglue plus a lot of vella time; that's increasing security as far as I see.[/quote'] lol I think its just funny cause of typical Apple claiming something to be fantastically amazing for its buyers and being exposed as typical Apple, make it shiny and the user base will lap it up

As for being exposed, please understand what "easy" means in comparison to a pass code. Not me with apparently Picasso has said it and I agree. But that's besides the point. IF the technology is matured etc. why wait till Apple releases it first :dontknow: This is no coincidence - first with the gold colored cover S4 and now this. It is irritating to see phone-clones in the market as a consumer. One of the reasons I admire the Windows Phone - they have their own (sometimes cr@p) with niche segment.
