Crookbond Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Sreesanth and Chavan will go to court - they seem to have a strong case though BCCI's objective will be achieved.
G_B_ Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I do hope that the MCA employ Chavan. Dont allow him to play cricket but pay him to give talks to youngsters on how he was approached and how he was tempted. Atleast will set a marker for the youngsters coming up.
rkt.india Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Sreesanth and Chavan will go to court - they seem to have a strong case though BCCI's objective will be achieved. What kind of strong case they have?
SLICKR392 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Ball Boy @fraudballer 23m Honest question. Has anything been proven yet against Sreesanth? Then what the **** is the life ban for?
Crookbond Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 What kind of strong case they have? It is BCCI's prerogative to prove they were match fixing and even if they did - BCCI may not be able to impose a life ban.
SLICKR392 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Any chance of DM labeling this pic? :cantstop:
vvvslaxman Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Sreesanth joins the elite group of Azharuddin, Ajay Jadeja.
yoda Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Isn't it wrong to bet when holding posts that grant them so much influence and information? so who did their actions affect? other fellow bookies who were also betting illegally? as long outcome of games were not affected, it is their money. Raj Kundra also bet on his own team and he claims in the UK betting is legal. yes it is wrong, but on a much lower scale than if they had asked their own team members to throw the games away.
yoda Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Why is the BCCI so eager to ban them before the court proceedings are completed? What if the courts find them not guilty?
CoverDrive Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 as always players are the scapegoat while kundra, srini, and all escape
hhunaeh Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 so who did their actions affect? other fellow bookies who were also betting illegally? as long outcome of games were not affected, it is their money. Sorry i missed raj kundra. He is the same as meiyappan. If you have fellows like sreesanth who are desperate for money, then people like kundra and meiyappan can easily influence them. They can also influence team selections and god knows what else. It's your money and your team, so why take a chance and lose money when you have ways of making sure that you win more than you lose. All this is pretty obvious to everyone other than a few people who pretend not to see this problem.
CSK Fan Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 so who did their actions affect? other fellow bookies who were also betting illegally? as long outcome of games were not affected, it is their money. Once again same point. Once again same answer. As any employeed person will know all conflicts of interest cases work same way. You do not have to have committed a crime to be sacked if there is conflict of interest. Check terms and conditions of even the smallest of company. But am sure you will repeat same thing again.
vvvslaxman Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Sreesanth tweeted that he got surprised by the ban and then deleted the tweet :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Dear Saar, betting on your firm is illegal even in the UK.
