SLICKR392
^ Champions League* Australia will look to regain No. 1 spot: Rixon http://cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/58881/australia-will-look-to-regain-no.-1-spot-rixon . Yeah sure. Bring it on. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Australia rarely fails in ODI series in India. So it is not going to be a cake walk as everyone imagines. Only advantage for India is current OZ side is sh** against spin. Link to comment
SLICKR392
Both Rixon and Bailey rued the absence of Michael Clarke, who was ruled out of the tour due to his back problem. "You take Dhoni out, that probably answers your question," said Rixon candidly, while Bailey said, "We would love to have Michael here." Link to comment
prasadiyer
So everyone is ok with 90 IPL games and another 50 Champions league games but don't like internation 7 ODIs between top 2 sides.. Can't wait for this series to start.. 2 months of champions trophy was jsut too much ... You are right, compared to all that masala cricket this is good, but still, 7 ODIs seems tedious. Especially if one team wins first 4, then the remaining 3 dead rubbers will seem endless. Also, where is the prestige factor? Everybody is playing tests and we are playing ODIs. There was the ODI tournament in England, then ODI tri-nation series in West Indies, then 5 ODIs in Zimbabwe, and now 7 more of them in India. Something doesn't seem right in the planning. vvvslaxman
India needs more tests than ODIs. period. But ODI is BCCI's cash cow. They will keep milking it. Link to comment

G_B_
yup champions league t20 is a sweet and short tournament. Maybe in the future they should have 20 teams in groups of 4. and try to avoid the qualification stage the IPL is along at 8 weeks of 56 days. Thats the one that needs to be trimmed down IMO to 5 weeks. Link to comment
G_B_
and people moaning about the 7 ODIs. I think the last time we played the commonwealth game series with Aus and SL we ended up playing like 8 games in the qualification rounds. Surely 7 ODIs are much better in a sweet and short way? Sidhoni
differenr format.different conditions In fact these conditions will help our attack more with Jaddu, Ashwin and Yuvi playing a greater role. All our batsmen barring Kohli have played in CLT20 and looked in great form. Link to comment
G_B_
I am yet to be convinced by Sir and Ashwin in the t20 format. Rajkot especially if past indicators of matches (ranji and international) are to go by then its going to be a flat deck where 200 is the par score. Link to comment
SLICKR392
differenr format.different conditions Different conditons but this our own turf and bowlers would obviously fair better here and its gonna assist our spinners a lot more. Link to comment
ShebbySB
It'll be a run fest,India will get home by a whisker :om: Link to comment
ShebbySB
What is our best ideal line up right now? If u are a selector & have to choose a 15 man strong ODI squad what will be ur pick? This is mine:- Openers:-Dhawan,Rohit,Rahane. Middle-order batsmen:-Kohli,Yuvi,Raina,Dhoni(Wk & c),Rayudu(can keep when required). Allrounders:-Jadeja. Spinners:-Ashwin,Mishra. Seamers:-BK,Ishant,Aaron,Mohit. Chand,Juneja,Nayar,Rasool,Shukla & Suyal can also come into the team if they continue to perform well in the domestic matches. Link to comment
ShebbySB
Aaron is unfit Has started bowling,he's a first choice for ODIs when fit. Link to comment

I'm confident about winning ODIs but not T20s.somehow we have sucked since winning the Cup in 2007 Link to comment
