CSK Fan Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 It will be RR vs MI finals with MI winning all the way. If CSK somehow manages to reach the finals I expect Mumbai police to step in and correct the situation. Man, for all the time we laughed at Pak fans for making excuses for fixers and seeing comspiracies everywhere, some of our home grown specimens are worse. No wonder some people think they can get away with anything. But anyone who points finger at people supporting Amir, at least they do this because they think it will do good for the country. Here we see people making excuses for the larger problem of fixing and it's impact just to support an IPL club. I think we have lost the moral high ground.
Clarke Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Hey MI, there's some TNT on the way :P Actually there are players from T&T in all the four teams playing the semifinals, can't be unhappy on them winning the trophy.
G_B_ Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 On paper TnT are better than Mumbai on the kotla pitch. They have better spinners than MI and appear to be in better form.

G_B_ Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 well we have Ojha and Bhajji they have Narine and Badree. sort of sums it up
SLICKR392 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 well we have Ojha and Bhajji they have Narine and Badree. sort of sums it up You have got the batsmen to tackle that.
G_B_ Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 do we? Tendulkar sucks at the top. Maxwell i have not seen him play a single good innings for mumbai. DK is having a nighmare with the bat and behind the stumps. The fact is Tare at the moment is probably a better bet than Sachin with the bat and DK with the gloves. it all basically hinges on Rohit Sharma.
G_B_ Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 and dont get me wrong. On that Delhi pitch IMO TnT are better equipped than both RR and MI. If TnT win today the smart money will be on them to lift the trophy. Narine especially is just going to run through the RR line up if they reach the finals. No doubt i will support RR in the final. But the pitch is not going to suit them at all. You look at Tambe and he seems to thrive on pitch with bounce which skid on. Not a big turner of the ball.
SLICKR392 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Agreed. But Badree hasn't been at his best and teams have won against KKR and TnT on dry surfaces with Narine on the opposite side. Its all about playing out Narine and TnT hasn't got the best batting line up around. Ojha looked in good touch, Harbhajjan might get enough purchase from a Kotla wicket to trouble the TnT batsmen. Win the toss and bat first is the way to go on this wicket, and against Narine on the other side.
G_B_ Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 I personally think mumbai should bowl first. If ever there was a TnT weak point, its their batting. Some inexperience in there. Bhajji especially needs to step up and bowl with venom.
SLICKR392 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 What I meant was if they put up 150+ and the game goes down to the final few overs, it would be tough to handle Narine with the pressure of chasing.
G_B_ Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 its a good call and a good toss to win IMO need to keep TnT below 150
