bones Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 One of the elite batsmen the game has ever seen. In my opinion the greatest Indian player of all time. However like Federer in Tennis, like Scholes and Giggs in football, towards the end of his career, you could see he was playing because he still enjoyed the game and many wanted him to retire so as to give the yougnsters a chance. Once he's gone, people will continue to go on and on about him, it will make viewing for me even poorer than it is now, because it'll be Tendulkar this and that for hours on end. Great player, great records, but should have gone much much earlier.
King Tendulkar Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 We literally were a one man team for a long time. It really was sachin out and game over for yonks. I was one of those as soon as he was out I would walk away for at least half hour in despair. Wow the memories.

Austin 3:!6 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 The greatest sporting athlete ever according to me. Playing for 24 years with players of all ages and generation is an unheard achievement. Who knows how Micheal Jordan would have fared had he faced LeBron James? How successful Muhammad Ali would have been had he faced Tyson? How would Secretariat performed in Belmont Stakes if he was running with a Frankel? They all been great athletes but performed on a certain era. Tendulkar maintained his performance in all era and generation. Thank you Sachin for being the greatest sports person ever
