That is even worse' date=' as in the 19th over you have to go from ball 1. Plus he is experienced enough to at least try giving Kohli the strike[/quote'] can you be more clear abt whom are you blaming and what are you blaming you.. u r saying we go shld from ball 1 and at the same time you are asking the same guy to give strike to kohli

We are overlooking this shortcoming of Rohit since he was not really the villain today. But down the line this habit will hurt us badly in some crucial match.
Said it in the last match when everyone was praising those 13 balls 24. These 20s are of no use. When you are set, don leave it for others, play as long as possible.

Yep, once you find you are unable to time the ball, giving strike to Kohli is the best option. Neither Yuvraj, nor Dhoni could get this basic right

Yes. I am a bit surprised while all stones are pelted at Yuvraj's house' date=' both literally and figuratively, why people are not even talking about Dhoni. This guy came in ahead of Raina and couldn't even put bat to ball. Forget everything, he couldn't even provide strike to Kohli who was our best bet at that moment to make think different.[/quote'] It was Malinga bowling who was at his best yesterday and his yorkers were dipping late beating the bat. Neither Kohli nor Dhoni could do anything. If yorkers are at right spot, no batsman can do anything. IMO, we did not lose because of last 4 overs but what we did before that and how many runs we scored to the bowlers other than Malinga.

I think Kohli was in his zone until Yuvraj halted him on his tracks. Kohli would have found a way had he consistently gotten strike. He could have easily upset their plans.

Thing was Yuvraj could not score at all even between 11-16 overs. It was only Kohli who was hitting. Death overs, we always knew it will be Malinga bowling yorkers outside off and fielders at point and third man and once Malinga's yorkers start dipping late like yesterday, it is impossible to hit him.

Same Dhoni i have seen playing reverse paddle against such dleiveries, sweep shot from outside the off stump. Nobody was in any rythm when yuvi left. It was as if KOhli had just come to the crease.

And one hit and Malinga would have lost his rhytm.
