Guest Sabi Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Not as good as ajmal but he is par with mishra for sure.
gattaca Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 He troubled India as well in westindies almost won them the cup.
vijay50 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Watch SL cheating Now that they are in Semifinals, watch them excessive appeal, chucking , feigning fake injuries when the bat hit bat and glove etc. Iam telling you. They will do whatever dirty trick in book to win the cup for Sanga and Haya. God save the teams who play them in SF snd finals. It happened jn WC 2011 finals. It will happen again.
vijay50 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Not as good as ajmal but he is par with mishra for sure. Why not good as Ajmal. He destroyed Pakistan several times , when both sides met.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Enjoyed seeing NZ get crushed Yes India had a poor tour but i feel it was more to do with the captaincy and opening combo and strategy rather than rest of the players - there were some good performances and we would have won some matches had we bowled to our strengths with an aggressive captain. As the tour went on, NZ got real cocky. Especially that ***** wankner (wagner) who kept bowling no balls. They didn't all play dirty but they thought they were better than they actually were. Anyway, glad to see them brought back to earth.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 watch dhoni use raina when we've got a few wickets and 5 bowlers to use
vijay50 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Stop acting like a sore loser. Why u have soft corner for lankans or what? Facts are facts.
Iconoclast Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 They got brownwashed by Bangladesh on these pitches so this loss to Lanka is not a surprising result
CrazyCric Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 We got a bad decision as well (Kusal), even things up. I can imagine the disappointment from all the Indians who were waiting laugh at us after first innings HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :finger:
kubrickian Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Aus, NZ, Eng were always going to struggle on these spin friendly tracks, just like SC teams will find it tough in World Cup 2015. I feel SL are in a better position among SC teams to do well in WC because they have good seamers and seamer all rounders and decent batsmen. India's seam attack is poor and Pakistan's batting is poor.
JaiRamesh2 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Today they sprayed that anti dew stuff, hence ball began to grip and spin in Grp 1 first time, and therefore Eng and NZ crumbled.

lameduck Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Not as good as ajmal but he is par with mishra for sure. Keeping T20s aside. Far as quality is concerned Ajmal and Hearth are the top 2 leading spinners in the world in test and have been for the past few years. Mishra is nowhere in the frame.
flamy Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 They should have won against SA. That would have been a real fillip.
Sir john Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 They should have won against SA. That would have been a real fillip. you still here :hmmm: IPL comeback?
vvvslaxman Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Read it as Heart breaking .. still appropriate.
vvvslaxman Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Not as good as ajmal but he is par with mishra for sure. What is the record of Ajmal in this tournament or CT for that matter.
G_B_ Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 this was always going to happen. It will continue to happen in most major world events. We have been playing at basically two venues. Each pitch has been used 2-3 times. That mens a lot of wear and tear. Its probably different for WC 2015 cause something like 7 venues are used. Same thing happened in the champions trophy in 2013. 3 venues used to play a lot of matches. In the end there was spin from the wear and tear. The icc probably needs to review the number of stadiums used. There are only some number of pitches a groundman can prepare at each venue. Personally feel 140 Plus will be a match winning score in the semis and finals.
