Desi Cartman Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Bowl a straight delivery at a decent length to afridi. Unfortunately our bowlers are moron and they will keep giving him half volleys.
undisputed chap Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Think what nightmares ishant causes dhoni to get chances regardless of his failures
Midfielder Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Bowl a straight delivery at a decent length to afridi. Unfortunately our bowlers are moron and they will keep giving him half volleys. Afridi should be easy to contain if there is a plan. He should get nothing but pace but the think tank is running on empty.
Utalk Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Good for us. Our batsmen struggle against leggies and mishra troubled them in Asia Cup. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
undisputed chap Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Better bowlers,captain who gives a crap,new coach,new mgmt,banning of chuckers.
zen Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Good news MSD hit an inform bowler like Mishra out of the park .... Bad news, Mishra's confidence level and ofc doubts over his place in the 11 unless Mishra learns from the experience and comes back strongly Getting a feeling that Yuvi, Raina and MSD are all going to go crazy!
tweaker Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Ashwin & Ishant will take the wickets of Dhoni in 10 balls, when bowling to him in nets.
gaurav92 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Lost to Bangbros yesterday. The dew was something they couldn't tackle, hopefully with more and more matches, they will turn out to be a decent LOI side :nice:
Utalk Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 one more run than what pakistan make We won't accept it. Anything less then 50 run Indian win would mean moral win for Pakistan. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

rkt.india Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Ashwin & Ishant will take the wickets of Dhoni in 10 balls' date='when bowling to him in nets.[/quote'] They will take balls of Dhoni while hitting them, not his wicket.
rkt.india Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Dummy run: Shami, Bhuvneshwar fall ‘short’ of accuracy There were two pieces of good news from the India camp. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni had a long session with the bat at the nets. And the second one was bowling coach Joe Dawes looking a man on a mission as he worked with medium pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammad Shami. Following a series of losses that India are unable to shake off, even these small changes appear very positive. The red and black mannequin was brought into use but sadly, both Shami and Bhuvneshwar failed to really make the most of it. They bowled either too short or kept hitting the stumps. The yorkers were few and far between. About 20 minutes later, Dawes took over. He got both the bowlers to bowl from a short run-up in a bid to increase accuracy. He had long chats with Shami talking about his wrist position at the time of release. The Bengal pacer, however, did not show much improvement immediately and soon after looked like he had completely lost his rhythm. That was the sad part. Confidence shaken Not used to bowling the full length and so constantly erring on the yorkers could irritate bowlers and they feel their confidence go down. This could be one of the reasons why Dawes has not been able to make the mannequin part of the bowlers’ everyday routine before going to bowl at the nets. On Tuesday, the afternoon after playing a match under the lights, most batsmen chose to take it easy and only faced the spinners, and that’s when the dummy came into play. Coming up next India play England in their next warm-up match on Wednesday at Mirpur and coach Duncan Fletcher will want his bowlers to fire. Against Sri Lanka on Monday in their first practice match, India bowlers failed to hit the right length and continuously gave the batsmen opportunities to free their arms. The total of 154 was still achievable given the conditions, but the Sri Lankan bowling was a lot more disciplined. Hammer blows On the brighter side, Dhoni batting at the far net was sending the ball flying to all corners at the outer training ground of the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium even as England played their first warm-up match against West Indies inside. R Ashwin was not there as it was an optional session, but all others who rolled their arm over, including Amit Mishra and Shikhar Dhawan, saw the ball take flight off the skipper’s bat. Virat Kohli batted early and left early, dragging along his coffin and complaining about the sweltering heat. It was really hot but towards the end of the session, a strong breeze blowing from the north-west overturned the full-size sight screen with its iron framework. Dhoni’s straight shots only travelled further. The other Indian who skipped practice was Varun Aaron. http://www.hindustantimes.com/specials/cricket/worldt20-2014/worldcupt20-2014-topstories/dummy-run-shami-bhuvneshwar-fall-short-of-accuracy/sp-article10-1196853.aspx

Sidhoni Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 And then we wonder why Mishra just warms the benches.
Austin 3:!6 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Not playing Mishra in these conditions will be stupidity.
