No he won't. He'll go into a slump for like 2-3 years and then play a few more games and then retire. This is his very best.

Kohli is 25 years old (just about) he is 13500 runs adrift from Sachin's ODI runs. Assuming that Virat plays for 10 years and averages a baseline 45. He also plays 30 ODIs on average per year. That should see him make it. Just about. Obviously more than form its a case of injuries for Virat. Sooner or later somebody who plays across the formats for india is going to get an injury. Especially when he moves into his late 20s and early 30s. Realistically Kohli will probably need to play about 13 years from this point.

Exactly! VK's value to the team should be considered the same even if was chasing these totals down while remaining not-out on 80s or 90s. It ain't about the 100s.

His 100s are a reward for his attitude of not throwing his wicket away after a start. Another thing that emphasizes is what a risk free cricket he plays in the beginning before he explodes at the back end. He relies largely on ground strokes upto a point and gathers momentum at the time.. infact ahead of time. I wish every Indian has that attitude of getting starts, converting it and also making it count.
