The best innings Tendulkar has played since WC2011

I agree. This was Sachin's best innings post WC 2011. Some superb shots - 2 cover drives and one straight drive. It would always pain me how we gave away that test match. We were 213 for 2 in reply of just 333. Sachin was cruising and Dravid was hanging on. Yet we lost that test match. This loss rankles me in the same order as does Barbados 97. If Sachin had survived for next morning we would have had that test match and whole series could have been different.

This is something I have thought many times. If somehow he went on to score a 100 there, his career would have taken a different route and India would have had a better tour Down Under. Oh well.......................

both were absolute pattas.this was most definitely hi best
Sydney might have been a ptta but the scoreboard pressure was immense. It was a pity that he fell to Clarke there.

An interesting fact that in that whole series patto, harris, hilfenaus, siddle, starc all bowled really quick (around 90 miles/hr) and create problems for our ageing players..After that i have never seen these guys bowling that quick against any other team(starc might be an exception)..Infact siddle was bowling like a trundler in the ashes :giggle:

Watching those highlights' date=' we were so nicely set by SRT and RD.. wonder where it went wrong.. :(([/quote'] Siddle bowling a no ball. Got him riled up and he just bowled Tendulkar with a gem. From there I think that's where the tide turned for the whole series.

Sydney and Adelaide were the flat decks with a little grass to help the bowlers. Perth was bouncy and quick as heck.
