That's exactly what the data says. In fact it says that India's bowling is of such low quality that most batting line-ups score against us but just that our batting line-up is better than them
May be if we load up our team with mediocre batsmen, our bowlers will be forced to defend low totals and eventually might get better.. :cantstop: May be they are taking our batting awesomeness for granted and use it as an excuse for not improving their game. If you look at the last game one absolutely filthy bowler completely lost it for India. others bar few overs did very well.

Truly speaking Beasts from top sides: India -- Dhoni, Kohli, Rohit, Dhawan, Raina, Yuvraj Pakistan - Afridi(for maximum 6 balls) Australia - Maxwell, Watson, Finch, Faulkner West Indies - Gayle, Pollard, Charles, Smith, Sammy, Bravo, Samuels South Africa - De Villiers, Faf, Peterson New Zealand - Taylor, McCullum England - Morgan, Bopara, Hales, Kieswetter, Pietersen, Wright Basically its just three teams that can go beastly on such pitches if needed ... India, Australia and West Indies.
i think England can too, Morgan,Pietersen and Bopara ..they can match Aus/Ind probably not WI.. i think the beast ranking should be 1, WI 2, Ind 3, Aus 4, Eng 5,SA

Problem with WI is consistency because some of the beasts are hacks too :cantstop: . Kohli is a technically sounder beast than any of them hence he displays his beastliness for long periods. So is Dhoni. Yuvraj on his day can out do even Gayle at his best.

Quality of bowling ??? I don't see anyone special in the Pakistani camp, apart from Ajmal. Pakistan should be happy as India is not playing them anywhere in near future. I guess winning the series against India almost a year back is the major achievement for Pakistan and the fans will keep chanting this for the rest of the life. Even India A or may India B team is more than enough for present Pakistan team.

On these flat pan cakes and new ODI rules any good hitter can become beast especially with the help of poor bowling attacks shown in the series. None of Aus or Ind could have scored 350+ runs even on these pitches with the quality of bowling we have. Except for Dhawan' date= who was not part of the team all the rest Indian beasts were tamed pretty well on these same pitches not too long ago.

lol a wholeseries was a fluke ??.pakistan beating india in a series is no fluke ' date=' its a regular occurence , jamshed and shoai malik have made a living out of thrashing indian bowlers on those flat tracks :(([/quote'] That was a 3-match series FFS, not 5 or 7. Even Australia were ahead of us in this series if you look at first 3 matches, but in the end who won the series.

Just look at their strike rate.. It would have been considered poor even in the 80s lol. IN the last 3 years Azhar Ali 64.84 Ahmed Shehzad 67.15 Imran Farhat 67.36 Misba 69.45 Malik 70.06 Asad Shafiq 70.13 Nasir Jamshed 71.35
Even rohit sharma has strike rate of 80 :hysterical::hysterical:

At the end of the day both the teams knew it was a 3 match series. How would you respond to a counter argument from the green ghetto if they said that all the WC games were just one-off events?

Still, it is not fair to compare a 3-match series to a 5 or 7-match series.

One game cannot decide which team is better at that time because even minnows can win an odd game against good teams, but a long series decides which is the better team of the two. Credit to them beating us 2-1.

You are saying India wasn't a better team than Pakistan in a match-up between the two in 92, 96, 99, '03, '11?

If it was THAT Easy to score runs , how come Yuvraj and Raina struggled all through :secret: I bet these two even off-form are better than any of the Paki and English ODI batsmen on form..Any other sides , these would have been 280-290 games at most ..The batting has been out of the world in this series , even lthough aided by favourable rules.

92' date='96,99 pak was a better all-round team.03,11 we were better.[/quote'] Yes, agree. We were better in 03 and 11 and it showed in the position we ended up at the end too, runners up and winner. In, 96 too I can say we were better as we won in a knockout game and reach SF. I would both were well matched teams but not in 92 and 99.

pakis are boasting about good competition b/w bat and ball on non flat wkts and how they do well but not too long ago australia defeated them 2-1 in the middle east and england thrashed them 4-0,so much for being competitive :cantstop:
