GoldenSun Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Honestly I don't care. Have no sympathies for these Aussies. Remember how Ponting boorishly abused Srinath when, after hitting Punter with a bouncer, Srinath politely inquired if he was fine. Honestly, these guys deserve no compassion at all. They think they have a right to crack all sorts of personal jibes but when something is said /done in return, they suddenly expect some 'class' in sledging (e.g. Mcgrath- Sarwan incident). Not happening. As Gavaskar said, it cannot be a one way street. +1000 And many of the Aussie fans on Youtube called it "good hard cricket" while defending Punter. Honestly, I love the fact that guys like Kohli and Dhawan aren't backing down and are fighting fire with fire. The only player who doesn't deserve to be sledged is George Bailey, who comes off as a down to earth guy.
ganeshran Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Verbal sledging is fine, especially when Aussies are at the receiving end. they have been known for mocking players for years now. Mocking injuries is not on imo
TheWall Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Well, watson was limping.. so nothing wrong in telling him that and these aussies deserve every bit of it...
fineleg Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Mocking injuries is just NOT ON! Cmon guys, some class is reqd. One thing to return sledge cleverly , another to mock abt injury! What next mock someone's loved one having illness!? Is that the below the belt? Absolute lack of class Hats off to dravid, tendu, vvs, kumble, dhoni...who reply with cricketing skill and not this crap like sd, vk...
Ghost Buster Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Verbal sledging is fine, especially when Aussies are at the receiving end. they have been known for mocking players for years now. Mocking injuries is not on imo What's the name of the girl in your avatar ?
Debutant Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 What the **** is this non sense of having class while fighting. Absolutely loved that from Dhawan. Would have been better if all the Indian players would have surrounded this piece of **** and mocked non stop through his stay in the crease. This is what that Aussie team deserves. Nobody had anything to say when Watson was laughing when Dhawan was hit but these so called moral people now suddenly are offended because Dhawan gave it back. I hope the whole Indian team gives it back like Kohli & Jaddu do.
Cricketics Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 In Hindsight, he shouldn't have done it but WHAT THE HELL MAN. Our young guys are enjoying the game this way, so let them do it. Anyways, not much is happening on such lifeless turf pitch and twatson has been known to be talking lot of crap with Indian players, that isn't new, so makes sense for Dhawan to enjoy his bit. Let's not forget that whenever Aussies are on top in any game or in series or any situation, their behavour drops to low against us and twatson is one of them who doesn't just sledge, but actually provokes lot of things.
someone Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Disgraceful behavior Watson was laughing at it but then it become too much and disrespectful.
Debutant Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Don't understand the hypocrisy of people who are saying that abusing and talking absolute filth about your family members is class and playing hard but mocking a minor injury is somehow degradable. :hysterical:
Zanjeer Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 It makes the game more interesting. That's all I care for..
div Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Don't understand the hypocrisy of people who are saying that abusing and talking absolute filth about your family members is class and playing hard but mocking a minor injury is somehow degradable. :hysterical: true :haha:
Prakat Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 It's all good. If there is a reason Dhawan should not have played with physical mocking is for his own interests. It is caught on camera and leaves him open to fines and whatnot. Wind him up by muttering unrepeatable stuff and he is untouchable.
NareshK Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Don't understand the hypocrisy of people who are saying that abusing and talking absolute filth about your family members is class and playing hard but mocking a minor injury is somehow degradable. :hysterical: I agree. Watson was sledging Indian players throughout the series. Dhawan was just giving it back. What Watson said could have been more classless. You can't judge by sitting at home.
vayuu1 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 What's the f is wrong with icfers, fight with class, some icfers are behaving like you can touch her can do anything with her,but cannot phack her.abbe saalo,wo kare to chamatkar, hum Kate to balatkar.

They have a defeatist and servitude mentality.
