saneindian Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 We have never won 5 back to in our cricket history. So a moment to celebrate. Lets make it 6-0 at Wankhede before the next set of 0-8 begins :((
ShebbySB Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 We won't get whitewashed this time,we'll win against NZ in NZ & lose both the series in SA & Eng..........though we'll fight.
Magneto Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 We won't get whitewashed this time' date=we'll win against NZ in NZ & lose both the series in SA & Eng..........though we'll fight. :cantstop:
G_B_ Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 i have a feeling the rain will save india in England for atleast 2 tests. Tough times for India 2 tests away to SA 2 tests away to NZ (i think they will roll out green belts) 5 to England some series at home 4 away to aus
MCcricket Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Selectors are already behind in terms of forming a good pace attack but if Umesh, Shami, Bhuvi, Zak, Aaron, Pandey we could do well, India might win some tests and draw one series, I have high hopes from Kohli, Rohit, Dhawan, and hope Sehwag and Gambhir find form too.
G_B_ Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 ^ who would you pick for SA? I think India need 4 pacers in a squad of 15. Effectively Pandey misses out.
MCcricket Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Depends on the form of Umesh, Aaron I would love to have them with Shami and Bhuvi and Suyal or Zak as fifth bowler
Lord Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 i think we will rest shami in next game why?better rest Bhuvi or even Ojha Shami is in form, should play
fineleg Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 i think we will rest shami in next game You may want it But you think dhoni will rest shami at bombay? Rofl!
Laaloo Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I don't think we will lose the series in South Africa especially if we drop Vijay. South Africa are in no great form either. Smith is injured. Amla's the only one. ABD only scores when everyone else does. Kallis is struggling. Morkel is struggling. They don't have a good 3rd seamer and Morkel is not that unplayable either. And they have no spinner. If our bowling cashes in and our batsman gives them enough runs, we might be able to draw or heck dare I say we might be able to win the series.

Laaloo Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Philander is not playing? Damn subhe subhe bhool gaya. Koi baat nahi. I think we can play him. I don't know but for some reason I am more optimistic this time. Maybe it's cause we dont have the walking wicket Dravid in SA this time. :dontknow:

I don't even remember the Aussie bowlers who terrorised us then - aren't these guys two times better? And one Amla 150+ is good enough to make us bat twice. :giggle:

I don't think Kohli will do much. but I do think Rohit and Pujara will stand out. And hopefully no Ishant this time to screw it up. We were doing so good at Cape Town last time until Dhoni decided to stop Sreesanth and Ishant decided to be Ishant.
