His bad patch has been pretty long now though he can do well in NZ as he showed it the last time we toured there.
I think hes been found out, hes struggling to overcome his shortcoming. Perhaps hes simply not upto the mark, what we saw a few years ago was the rare 'Good patch'!!

Horrible, just horrible. How is this guy an international player and that too in a country reputed for their batting. As we all know., this. guy is well connected. Let's hope CSK drafts some good indian players during the auction otherwise team India is screwed for the next three years.

:hysterical: how long does he need another 5 years.

I like raina attitude and all but really he needs to just forget his pull shot and duck under till he scores 30-40.Its just not his shot and he has to acknowledge his weakness.

Not sure I've seen a top order international batsman so utterly hopeless against the short ball as this dude. Guy made his debut in 2005 - in 9 years even some tailenders would show more improvement against short pitched bowling than Raina. With Dhoni and Srinivasan's backing, he will retain his place and might even make a comeback to the Test side. But on cricketing merit alone, Raina should be shoved out of the team and told to correct his weaknesses (if he is even capable of doing so) in FC cricket.

He'd probably be bounced out by Vinay Kumar but then make up for it by scoring 150 against seam attack whose fastest bowler is abishek nayer prompting his reselection for the test side.

Should Dhoni drop out-of-form Suresh Raina? Suresh Raina in ODIs since June, 2013 Matches: 28; Innings: 22; Runs: 462; Average: 25.66. Fifties: 1; Hundreds: 0 Overall: 187 ODIs; Runs: 4530; Average: 35.39; Tons: 3; Fifties: 29 http://www.thatscricket.com/news/2014/01/20/should-dhoni-drop-out-of-form-suresh-raina-070537.html
no no no dont drop him. He will come good. Don't drop Jadeja either. He will become a world class batsman. Keep playing 2 spinners. We will eventually win an overseas match with 2 spinners. Nothing is wrong. Kaptaan Kool is awesome. He is never wrong.
