Yestrday was 5th anniversary of one of worst attacks on India. Many innocent indians lost their lives. We must not forget the dead who were murdered in this and other terrorist stikes against India. We must also never give up seeking justice. As we know the people who did this were pakistan, from the top of their establishemnt downwards. Sorry chaps no ties with them including social ties, yes that inlcudes cricket!!! As justice must be done first and attacks stopped. But lets not forger that horrible attack 5 years on. Shook me to the core!

Its amazing the lack of interest or botherdness media and country showed over this sad anniversary. No one gives a dammn, most moved on and brushed it under carpet. No drive for justice or to prevent further attacks etc. Most seem more focused on playing cricket with them Sad. Just shows why we will be hit by more attacks and deaths of indians

This was our 9/11. The days of continuous looking at the tv screen in complete shock...the feeling of utter helplessness. How can anyone forget that?

Intelligence, operational and other failures aside, this was a test of the threshold of our tolerance. Sadly, we took it as an acceptable event. I still cannot believe, if this didn't prompt a damning response, what else could ? Our response (the lack of it) has been an open invitation to smuggle a dirty bomb on our land, we're just too wary of them.

In addition to below points, surgical strikes would have been a strong option at tht time. (obviously not done due to some considerations.) a) Covert operations - Not possible to call for certain since they are convert by nature, but given the situation tht pak finds itself in, I'd have guessed tht they were a good success. b) Name and shame at world stage - good success. c) Cutting Diplomatic, Trade, People-to-people, Sporting ties - We have been inconsistent here by sending compromising or mixed signals. I think collaborating with the US has also helped in points a and b.
