SLICKR392 Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Look at the balls faced by Pujara and Vijay. Massively important in enabling Kohli and Rahane to get runs. Pujara might be upset to get out and Kohli din't cash in but to be fair to Anderson, it was a good ball.

vvvslaxman Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Kohli, Pujara, Rahane have proved they are all season players who can do well on any surface. Not sure how long Vijay can maintain this. He is also good everywhere. Just Dhawan has to adapt little better. We will have an awesome batting line up that can do well anywhere in the world. We have few more coming through. So we are in safe hands . Issue starts after no.5. The brdge between tail and top order is very weak now in overseas conditions.

It's a bit higher than I thought and that is a good thing its a myth that he is defensive player he is very good stroke maker and i am actually surprised that he has not settled into odis as opener he is not gonna smash bowlers but he can have strike rate of 80 or little bit more in odis

Vijy Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Pujara, Dhawan, Rohit and Dhoni have been very disappointing. Now that Dhobi is gone, and Rohit is on the bench (for now), Dhawan must be dropped. People keep pointing to some isolated good knocks here and there, but an opener with a sub-30 avg isn't really worth it at all!
