CG Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 1. It's a IndianCricketFans forum (ideally a lot of die hard fans) 2. Didnt say worship Indian team blindly 3. Commenting on tactics doesnt mean calling MSD every name under the sun. MSD who brought lot of glories to Indian team. I would even say that he gets lot of respect in padosi forum compare to ours. 4. "Its beauty of cricket and this forum how reaction changes from session to session. One over u are hero next zero." - I always thought this forum has fans that are knowledgeable.. who shows above average loyalty to the team.. the reaction that you are talking about is expected from any tom, dick and harry walking on streets. Some of my uncles used to do the same thing.. When SRT used to get out in 10s or 20s, they would say 'Gadheda ne kai ramta nathi aavadtu' .. (Gadhe ko kuch khelne nai aata') I guess recently I have been noticing lot of changes in the forum may be cuz a lot of good, loyal, honest critics left the forum. 1.As I said in india most follow cricketers than the indian team.U have sachin fans ,dhoni fans, ganguly fans ,kohli fans indulging in upmanshipetc. With Ipl the regionalism is evident even more.thankfully many do rise above it. 2.By using words like wrist slitting u are implying that. 3.As i said nobody is spared in duels between fanboys.Allthough Dhoni actions in last few years do not deserve much respect. 4.In match threads u expect the reaction to change .There are many performance watch threads and debates also going on. 5.The forum is far better than it was in last 2 years with every thread being derailed by trolls. Some of the trolls have become quite serious.
Yoda-esque Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 what's with you abusing MSD?? Mule is nothing compared to the other names that he is called by in here

zep1706 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I still consider it as a one off. I'd be more than happy if he can continue his form but I have seen enough of Ishant to know that he would go back to being rubbish pretty soon.
Laaloo Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Dont agree with some of your arguments so lets agree to disagree.. I think you meant to say, " can't argue with some of your points, so I will leave it at that." :winky:

ThePhenomenal1 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 this is the best i've seen of ishant in years he seems to be enjoying it. still bowls a few bad balls but boy is he back. some inswing that got amla and kallis
Ram Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 He did well today But of course long way to go for Ishant. Can he produce this on a consistent basis and on different types of pitches? He was a real asset today, getting bounce of a length. They did not enjoy facing him Whaaaaaaaaaaat do you mean..!!??? He’s a trundler who bowls 135! Isnt our mantra – ‘No pace, no place!’ :dontknow: Indian team did a big strategic blunder by not including the much pacier Umesh Yadav. Never mind the facts about what bowler is suited for which pitch etc. Pace is good, pace is power, pace uplifts us all!

But look how I get such esteemed respected posters like Ram to post again on this site!:two_thumbs_up: I am disappointed with you KT. Instead of grudgingly acknowledging Ishant’s performance in this innings, I honestly thought you’d come out all guns blazing and say ‘If Ishant can take 3 wickets, Umesh Yadva, who is much quicker, would have taken 5! As always, I am right again..’ :headshake:
Sidhoni Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 I have stopped convincing people in here to be better fans. Too many bandwagon type and too many wrist slitters type. Day 0 - "we gonna lose in 3 days" India post 250/5 - "Post Day 1 - India played so much better youngistan is just awesome.." India All out in 280 - "We are screwed big time..." SA 100/1 - "SA going to post 500+ runs.. F*** our bowlers" SA 146/6 - "Sheet... now India can wrap them up in 200" SA 200/6 - "Holy Sheet.. this always happens to us" etc... etc... etc... We must be one of the Worst sports team fan around. If we cant support our team when we are at no. 1 in ODIs and no. 2 in Tests, then how we going to stand by when team is not doing well or at no. 5 ranking. Same goes in day to day life events.. gotta stand by when chips are down for some one cuz anybody can jump up and down when things are going well. :hatsoff:
