Who is to blame if we lose this match?

If we lose this match and on the process this test series, it will be a massive dent in this teams confidence. Specially I feel for the likes of Pujara, Vijay & Kohli. So who to blame if we botch this up now?

9.3 light-o-meter reading decision of umpires. Pujara and Vijay were in great touch and the Steyn, Morkel, Phil were a bit tired after tea. Pujara and Vijay would have ensured additional 80+ runs before close of play. Dhoni and Nohit and Jaddu - they need to show up in Tests. Bowlers need to take wickets on day 3

SA is a superior test side than our side. ALl i need is concerted effort from our boys. If SA play well.. can't do much. Slightly flatter surfaces suit them more than us. Because guys like Steyn, Morkel can extract something out on these pitches. Our bowlers are impotent on these pitches. Their batsmen will make hay and will bat us out of the game. Providing flat track to us is a strategy not a gift. On green tops we would have beaten them.

We have already performed beyond everybody's expectation. No way is anybody losing confidence after such performances, even if we lose the test.

Cant blame anybody. India is playing against a very good side and an experienced side in their home conditions. South Africa is bound to fight and make a comeback. Did you expect them to just roll over and give us the series ? Our side has already done very well in this test series. I think they have the spirit to fight and do well in this test. Still only 1 innings has finished and 3 more days to go. Anything can happen.

I think it was Dhoni's wicket which put South Africa back in the game. All of a sudden Dhoni and Rahane had started adding runs. Were around 302 quickly after losing some. And then Dhoni went and team just fell right away.

What we really missed out is the final session yesterday when the set batsmen could have put the tired SA attack to the sword and scored another 100 runs, which would have given us 420+. But bad light stopped play and then we had to contend with a raring and fit Steyn in the morning. Similar thing happened in 1st test. Lost 5 wickets in morning session for 45 runs after being 225/5 and in second innings as well where we lost a bunch of wickets after Pujara/Kohli partnership. So what happened today has followed a pattern, its just that we missed out on cashing out yesterday evening because of bad weather.

True. We were sort of unlucky to miss out on day 1. Vijay will be the person to say that today. Imagine had he batted for another 45 minutes on day 1, India would have scored more off course and Vijay would have crossed 100 as he was batting well that day.
