Either way, he'll walk away scot-free. Exactly which makes me sick.... We Indians just DO NOT understand the concept of 'Conflict of interest'... Look at how things work here in western countries...Freaking, being from the engineering department, I am not even allowed to get one damn sandwich from our vendors to avoid any conflict and getting influenced during the selection process for an RFP.. and bloody Dhoni and Sreenivasan are playing it soo openly and without any fear in front of whole India and people are ok with it. How can BCCI president own a franchise.. thats a massive conflict of interest where players from that specific franchise would be given priority How can India's captain be the captain of the franchise, plus executive member of Rhiti management firm ... that is some SERIOUS conflict of interest.. How can India's captain be the VP of the company where BCCI president is the president..Indian cements where Dhoni is VP and Sreenivasan is Prez. that is a massive CONFLICT OF INTEREST For such big conflict of interest, we can get fired in an instant in western countries.... Blame our education and professional system in India that people don't understand the concept of conflict of interest and the IMPLICATIONS of it!! sad to see educated NRIs folks here who don't understand this

Iconoclast Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 To some degree I can see how a village boy like Aamer who was making a few hundred dollars match fees would be led astray by big money ... but Dhoni is probably one of the wealthiest athletes in the world - why would he get involved in this stuff ?

Notice as soon as this scandal hit Raina and Ishant are nowhere to be seen in the Asia Cup and WT20 squads ?
