Not sure about his long term success but just dont deserve to be dropped atm imo Everyone is doing an overreaction as like with Dhawan before. Think just promote Rahane to no5 and Rohit to no6 for England series.

Ashwin batted on a flat track in Odis, not on a green top. He batted on a difficult pitch, better attack and scored runs in SA.
