I would like to see somebody like a Jadhav in there. While he is averaging 50 which is not high by Ranji standards with run inflation now a days , he is one player who i feel has the technique to deal with the short ball. However i think considering India loves to transplant Odi players to test, IMO Rayadu is the next one in the line. If indeed Rohit gets axed. Other names are Bawne, Jiwanjot Singh , Zol , Baba Aparijath etc.

rayudu can be tried in odis, but also tests. feel he is solid in technique, he may surprise us. Can't do worse than nohit. Give rayudu the #5 slot. In odis, you want jadhav and manoj tiwary in the squad. rohit should be dropped!

Please don't mention Unmukht Chand. I like him but he is too raw right now. Let him score some runs. This is the mistake we made with Rohit Sharma. He was too raw and we got him into Odi side. He played one good knock with Tendulkar and got hyped and never really clicked after that. Unmukt might play one flashy knock at ODI level and then might go the same way as Rohit. We shouldn't make the same mistake. Let them become a real deal then make their way to Indian team.
