Its been win the toss, win the game kind of series. Both bowling attacks prefer to bowl with a cushion of big total behind them. and SA will prepare another dry-ish pitch to assist them with more reverse swing all the more reason toss becomes crucial.

i don't think so..more than bounce in first test they got destroyed cos of variation ,specially in 2nd innings..also pitch was not specially prepared for australia in 2nd game it has been like this for some time now and cape town is always more helpful to bowlers

Capetown is always a slow pitch. If it has grass, it will be soft and spongy helping seam bowlers. You never see a fast and bouncy track at Newlands.

I had already written that it will help seam bowlers. It is not fast and bouncy pitch. I do not see them leaving grass. It will help Harris and Siddle as much and will make them more potent that they have been this series. Mitch can come into play on any pitch once Harris and Siddle support him better than they did last match.

even fast and bouncy is fine but when its just uneven its gets dangerous do u think johnson will be able to swing the ball back into right handers here ?

I do not see them leaving much grass. It will help Harris and Siddle as much if it is green and will make them more potent that they have been this series. Mitch can come into play on any pitch once Harris and Siddle support him better than they did last match. Regarding swing, it needs to happen in the air for him as his seam position is not that great for it to seam. He has done it though time to time. A little bit of swing is enough at that pace.
