TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Star Sports using new graphics to complement their rebranded bouquet of sports channels. Frankly I'm just glad they got rid of those horrible graphics they used since 2008. They really looked third-rate. I'm not a huge fan of the purple theme of the new graphics but it's a vast improvement over the previous ones. (P.S. if you never cared about the graphics, don't comment)
TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 purple looks crap I agree. Blue and yellow would've been a better combination. Purple is one of the weirdest colors they could use for a scorecard graphic.
Lord Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I agree. Blue and yellow would've been a better combination. Purple is one of the weirdest colors they could use for a scorecard graphic. Blue and white would have been great
Cricket_Hacker Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Atleast this is better than previous one Ind-nz had the best
BlueBee Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Atleast this is better than previous one Ind-nz had the best :agree:
TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Atleast this is better than previous one Ind-nz had the best Yeah, but that's New Zealand's Sky Sport's graphics, not Sony Six's. My personal favourite have been the ones by Channel 9 in Australia, especially the one they used for the 2006 Ashes.
Cricketics Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Blue/purple? That's like similar to what neo sports always had for home games. I hate those colors. I remember Desi downunder always mentioning too in hindi "neela/peela" Where does the color combo go man for these guys? Such a big channel.
Precambrian Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 i think the color is based on the team that is batting. have seen sky doing that. might be wrong.
sscomp32 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 i think the color is based on the team that is batting. have seen sky doing that. might be wrong. I think these are permanent grapics. They used the same type of graphics in pre/post match in WI series. I am not liking these graphics. The best for me was the one used by ten sports during celkon cup. Sidhoni Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Not bad. As someone said earlier, Ind-NZ were great.
TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 Where does the color combo go man for these guys? Such a big channel. It has to do with the entire rebranding of Star Sports. If you see the promos, purple is the main color they use around their logo. That's why they're using the same color for the scorecard.
SLICKR392 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 i think the color is based on the team that is batting. have seen sky doing that. might be wrong. That would have been nice.
TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 i think the color is based on the team that is batting. have seen sky doing that. might be wrong. No. Purple is Star Sports' new color theme. They're using it regardless of which team is batting.
Pagalpanti Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Whatsup with focus lights on players during replays.. Also the purple theme brings back memories of neo sports
Cricket_Hacker Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Whatsup with focus lights on players during replays.. Also the purple theme brings back memories of neo sports emotional kar diya :((
Austin 3:!6 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Sky Sports and Channel 9 has the best. But, nothing beats the ICC events scorecard:
puneet28 Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Sky Sports does a good job in graphics with color matching with Team's pet color
