gakgupta Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 1) Selection of Binny........Indian bowling standards didn't drooped so low that he can be played as a bowler.......We didnt needed a all-rounder esp when ashwin and jadeja can bat fairly well......ONE MORE SPINNER WOULD HAVE WON THE MATCH FOR INDIA 2) "CATCHES WIN MATCHES"....DROPPED FEW IMPORTANT ONES....last one by dhawan was a dolly....cant believe that he dropped that POSITIVES 1) SHAMI improving every match 2) KOHLI can make a very good and aggressive captain CANT UNDERSTAND 1) Cant believe pandey was behind binny
Pagalpanti Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 70:30 - Fielding : Umpiring Bhuvy 2 plumb decisions went against us and I lost count of drop catches..
kubrickian Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 More than Pandey, Mishra could be effective on these pitches. Imran Tahir ran through Pak batsmen in UAE, so Mishra could do well against them.
Yoda-esque Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Mad.. Ideal situation for dhoniconda Would agree with you
skindia Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Nohit slow start behind all these 7-8 losses, common reason
Sean Bradley Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Tremendous fight back by the team, having put a sub par score of 264 on the board, having said that, things that cost us the match, was letting off Nangas stumping early on in his innings, dropping Kushal Janitor in first 10 overs, contributed by dew, and some poor umpiring. Inclusion of Binny is really baffling, an indicator of corruption and Nepotism in BCCI. Can anyone really question how that sub standard below par club cricketer got a chance to represent India in blue ahead of so many deserving youngsters? What is his 1st class record? What has he done in domestic cricket to deserve a call up for the National team? :protest:

Sidhoni Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 About Binny - Bat him higher up at no. 5 and he will do good' date= let him bowl 10 overs and he will do good :nice: If Nohit, Ishant, Rayudu can be persisted with, I see no reason why Binny cannot be given a few chances. :hysterical:

Well yes Agree on the second part. Now that he has been selected, give him a run of 10 games. Though he reminds me of a poor man's Ian Harvey and that's not saying much
Jersey #10 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 3rd reason, we missed our hitters at the end - Dhoni, Raina Swap rayudu and rahane with Rain a and Dhoni. The score would have been 290-300

KFC_Zinger Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I am impressed with the fight back even with dropped catches, missed stumping, poor umpiring etc we still were in the hunt throughout the match..... Swap Binny with mishra on Sunday and also swap rahane and Rohit's places in longer run ( May be not for Sunday)

Swap Binny with mishra on Sunday and also swap rahane and Rohit's places in longer run ( May be not for Sunday) That's an oxymoron, you cannot be impressed with a fight back if it has dropped catches, missed stumpings and poor fielding
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 there are situations which are lost in a game. From 44th over it was Bhuvis bowling which cost us. too many lose balls
Marut Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 1. School standard fielding. 2. Poor umpiring 3. Sanga's brilliant batting 4. Dew 5. Substandard team selection, Binny's selection based on daddy's quota - can neither bat nor bowl. 6. Shami too expensive 7. Nohit's awful start

To get chances and persistence, you need to deserve a call up for National Selection at first place, this Indian team is not Rogers Binny's Baap ki Jaagir that he will play his son only on his will ahead of so many hard working, well deserving youngsters.
