Roshanrocks Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 Wierd action.. but has bowled well in the IPL... And bowled a maiden to Watto in a crucial IPL game too...
kaptaan Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 19.6 Bumrah to Duminy, 1 run, hit down the ground to long off for a single, exceptional execution of blockhole-bowling by Bumrah ... Mumbai take the game by 15 runs and are surging up the table. 19.5 Bumrah to Jadhav, 1 leg bye, a blockhole delivery speared into the pads, Jadhav can't make contact 19.4 Bumrah to Jadhav, FOUR, backs away outside leg and throws his bat at it, carving the ball over the fielder at short third man 19.3 Bumrah to Duminy, 1 run, another blockhole delivery, excellent death bowling, Duminy can't get under it and so he drives it to long off 19.2 Bumrah to Jadhav, 1 run, in the blockhole once again, nothing much a batsman can do with that, Jadhav hits it through midwicket 19.1 Bumrah to Duminy, 1 run, full and straight, Duminy makes room and hits it along the ground to long-off
kaptaan Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 1.4 Bumrah to Watson, no run, 141kph, wanted to defend that but prefers to shoulder arms as the back of a length ball skids off the deck 1.5 Bumrah to Watson, no run, 142kph, solid front foot step to defend this good length ball on off stump. Pollard won't let it go through 1.6 Bumrah to Watson, no run, 144kph, can he really bowl that fast?! This was a fuller one outside off so Watson doesn't bother with it. Looks like he wants to settle before bringing out those booming drives
kaptaan Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 18.1 Bumrah to Hodge, 1 run, starts off well with a yorker on middle and off. Dug out into the off side for a single 18.2 Bumrah to Faulkner, 1 run, has to shovel another yorker from off stump into the covers. Two very useful balls at this stage 18.3 Bumrah to Hodge, 1 run, another one, this time Hodge spoons it back to the bowler who misfields. But it is only a single. Third yorker on the trot from Bumrah
Austin 3:!6 Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Best yorkers in death overs I have seen for any Indian bowler along with Nehra.
Roshanrocks Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 Yes... today many of his yorkers were spot on... :nice:
G_B_ Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 yup impressed with him. Probably better at the death than he is upfront. Something rare for Indian bowlers.
Old guy Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 yup impressed with him. Probably better at the death than he is upfront. Something rare for Indian bowlers. Will become good third seamer We can have guys like bhuvi and Sandeep bowling well with new ball and this guy can be specialist with older ball and death overs
