Similarly I am sure there are other such players from local Ranji squads whom these teams could have picked-Uday Kaul is another name that comes to mind,U19 hero Smit Patel another one,Vihari has been in good form and done decently last time(may be his base price was higher side)

Magneto Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Paunikar is good. Very pleasing to watch. Sayan Shekhar Mondal is a local quota pick. Will not get a game. Marathe has played Ranji for Mumbai. Had a good season a couple of years back.

He can merit a selection even on the basis of his batting.He has been impressive in shorter formats as well as three day matches.You will not find his record on cricinfo as some of the tournaments he played are not tracked by cricinfo.
