Trust me for icc tournaments wickets are mostly flat everywhere and in Australia Odis have plenty of flat decks like Adelaide Australia easily favourites but without any good batsman who can play long stable inning you can expect major collapse atleast once so every team has chance

Yes Oz will be favourites at home, and are in a relatively soft group (Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Scotland? Puh-leaze!). Indeed, NZ @ Eden Park is probably their most difficult game.
