I think it is too easy to take a wholeheartedly negative view of Dhoni's captaincy with pace bowlers.

Dhoni always likes bowlers who gives him supposed control and that are medium pacers for him.

In ODI more so in tests its 2 sessions worth or the whole day on the field so its different. But Umesh is still not going flat out he hits 150+ in t20 when he goes flat out. Hopefully KKR make playoffs and we get to see Umesh do exactly that.

rkt.india Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 That was not a bad ball but he needs to improve at Yorkers. He did hit some good Yorkers in practice matches in T20wc but has been to inconsistent with them, should have bowled from round the stumps.
rkt.india Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 If the ball is reversing he'd be a handful. Reverse swing barely comes to play in ODIs these days with 2 new balls. This two new ball rule has been hurting pacers in late overs in ODIs.
