Yes, ever since Chautala came out on bail, INLD seems to be gaining. Funny thing is he is out on the medical grounds but he is healthy enough to hold 4-5 rallies per day. Anyways, it seems to be getting quite interesting in Haryana. INLD is basically pro-Jats and pro-farmers in general. The time NDA(INLD 49 seats, BJP 8) was in power in Haryana in 1999-2004, the law and order situation was quite bad and due to that the middle,business, industrialist class faced difficult time. This was the main reason, why people(non- rural Jats) in Haryana voted en-masse for Congress in 2004 and 2009 was just to keep INLD out, and BJP got washed along with them as they were allies in the state and center. BJP knows INLD vote base is rigid and can't be shifted. So its trying to grow at the expense of Congress now as it seems to have lost the ground. People who vote for Congress just to keep Chautala out, can be shifted to BJP. Probably this is the reason Namo/Shah have been soft on INLD and have been attacking Congress more. This seems to be more interesting out of the two elections. Can't wait for the polling day and exit polls.
