putrevus Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 this squad looks strong in batting even though they lack experience, everybody can handle the bat unlike our batting where the tail starts from nohit, 200/3 can become 260 all out in a jiffy. If top 4 get out early we might not reach 180.

Out of the 8 test India played in 2013, we won 6 of them. So we deserved to be at no. 2 then.
CoverDrive Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Well done Matthews Guy took a lot of deserved flak in his first series as a captain for his defensive tactics against pakistan. but he has been great here in this test - contributed with ball and bat and has shown wonderful temperament. Sanga has been sublime all throughout the series but without matthews his performance would have been like Dravid in our last Eng tour
