BeautifulGame Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 TRS has majority of its own in Telengana state. So it would be obsurd to merge with Congress as they will need all the help from Centre funds to develop the new state. And they dont benifit much from merger anyway as well considering Gandhis will try to finish off C Rao the moment given a chance as they do with every popular state leader
G_B_ Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 lol sort of hope trs merges with congess. makes the tdp bjp the main opposition party. but rao will be mad to merge with a sunk ship. he has comfertable majority. a tie up with mim makes more political sense
bulbul Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Actually TRS promised to merge with Con party if Teleangana formed, but later cunning KCR decided against even alliance forget merger :hysterical:
Sachin=GOD Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Actually TRS promised to merge with Con party if Teleangana formed' date=' but later cunning KCR decided against even alliance forget merger :hysterical:[/quote'] That was obvious from the very beginning. Only Kaangresiss hoped that he would merge :cantstop:
G_B_ Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Actually TRS promised to merge with Con party if Teleangana formed' date=' but later cunning KCR decided against even alliance forget merger :hysterical:[/quote'] played congress at their own game. lol
Precambrian Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Wow seminal change in the nature and topics of discussion in NDTV :hysterical: Barkha has suddenly become doyen of civilian conduct, people debating detailed future economic policies of the govt in detail. Amazing!
Tiger80 Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 so true.can kamal nath be the leader of the opposition :hmmm:' date='afterall he too is a dynastic stooge[/quote'] Kamal Nath's name is associated with 84 riots. At this point that will be last thing Congress want
Number Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Wow seminal change in the nature and topics of discussion in NDTV :hysterical: Barkha has suddenly become doyen of civilian conduct, people debating detailed future economic policies of the govt in detail. Amazing! Haha. Some of these jokers are same experts who were predicting that Modi will never be BJP PM candidate, NDA will lose all the allies if it happens, if it happens his magic will never work outside Gujarat. How he will never become PM. Wohoo.. and here they are discussing how his cabinet gonna be and how his policies gonna be. :haha:
Sachin=GOD Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Mallikarjuna Kharge will be Leader of the Opposition. IMO Capt. Amrindar Singh would have been the best choice. Pappu didn't even have the courage to become Leader of the Opposition- his whole career he has been running away from responsibility yet Kangressis see him as their "leader".

Rahul Gandhi again missed the boat
Sachin=GOD Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 leader of opposition or leader of congress? AFAIK Leader of the Opposition will be allowed.
G_B_ Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 so they name a 71 year old as the leader of opposition..... way to stick to the old guard.
diga Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 so they name a 71 year old as the leader of opposition..... way to stick to the old guard. probably the senior most person
Sachin=GOD Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 probably the senior most person I think Amrindar Singh is senior most.
gattaca Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 This passing of the buck when there is responsibility is a bad precedent when they need a chair they would openly grab it.
coffee_rules Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Almost 25% of Congress MPs are from Karnataka. :hehe: It makes sense to give credit to a MP from that state.
G_B_ Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 there is a good chance if they lose Maharashtra CM post Karnataka becomes the largest state they govern. They have already lost Andhra (or the united Andhra) The biggest congress states as things stand are Karnataka, Kerela and Assam. I expect them to hold onto Assam and Kerela. But i think Karnataka should flip back to the BJP with Yeddy at the helm by the time the elections roll around in 2019. While the congress can potentially flip Rajasthan. Depends on how Raje governs. But the point is i have seen this Kharge speak. 0 oratory skills. Like it or not Swaraj and Jaitley were articulate people. Who were young in political terms (in their late 50s) when they took up the posts. I somehow doubt he even has the hindi skills needed. Should be stuck to speaking in english. God only knows how he is going to come across in interviews. Good for the BJP though.

Yeah....Kharge is most certainly NOT the person you want when the opposition has the likes of Modi, Sushma Swaraj, Jaitley etc in parliament.
