He said they may have been Chechen or Uzbek. He said they had been found to be carrying water, biscuits and dried chick peas. “They were preparing for a long siege and were intending to stay there for some time,” “Ten militants aged between 20 and 25 have been killed by security forces,” a spokesman for the paramilitary Rangers told reporters. “A large cache of arms and ammunition has been recovered from the militants.” Pakistan’s paramilitary force said at least some of the attackers were ethnic Uzbeks. Pakistani officials have previously blamed foreign militants holed-up along the Afghan border for staging attacks alongside the Pakistani Taliban around the country. Reports said three of the fighters detonated suicide vests while the other seven were killed by the security forces.

You can run around the bush and look for a lot of reasons trying to analyze The real harsh, bitter truth is -- Pakistanis wanted their state to be like what it is today ! And hence you are seeing what you are. This did not happen yesterday just by chance, it has been 25 years in the making. Even today as we speak they still distinguish between Good Terrorists and Bad Terrorists. Good ones are the ones which attack Kashmir and Afghanistan and Bad Ones are the one which kill them. The day they stop distinguishing between these two groups along with the Rougest State Sponsored Terrorist Group popularly known as ISI is brought under Govt Control, is the day Pakistan is going to change. Till then -- live in peace !

KARACHI: Following the terrorist attack at the Jinnah International Airport, former cricketers have refused to come to Karachi to play the Ramazan Cricket Tournament, DawnNews reported. The attack on the airport has affected ongoing and upcoming sporting activities. Talks have been underway to bring in a number of international players to Pakistan for the tournament, most of whom have reportedly excused themselves from participating after the attack on Jinnah International Airport. Those who have refused to take part include former South African opening batsman Herschelle Gibbs and New Zealand’s former strike bowler Jacob Oram. The news has come as a serious blow to the efforts being put in to bring back cricket in Pakistan. Pakistan has not hosted any international matches since the attack on the Sri Lankan team in Lahore in 2009. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and other organisations are active in managing events where former international cricketers can be invited to the country to send a message across the world that Pakistan was a safe place for sporting activities. The recent attack on the airport could roll back the entire process to bring cricket back in Pakistan.

Anyways this change will have to start with people of Pakistan starting a revolution like in Tunisia and Egypt and for the right reasons, not the wrong ones. If their PM has to take ISI's permission to visit another nation, you know chain of command is all messed up !
