Today the field was soggy...& USA didn't want any other serious injury concern. Against Belgium...will be totally different performance.

In these conditions it's tough to score and equally increases the difficulty of keeper's job. They might have got at least got 1 in if they had got anywhere near the box in the first 90mins.

They were significantly sluggish. They are better than this. There were several times they were out of sync. Passed balls where nobody was there. None of them were inflicted by Germany. Germany played their best game. USA their worst game.

This year they were expected to be trounced by all 3 teams. So this is a bigger achievement. Last 16 That is quiet an achievement. Belgium playing some sluggish soccer themselves. So IMO...USA starts favorites against Belgium....as USA probably played the best European team Germany today & came out 0-1 only...despite playing their worst soccer in this tournament. Remember its not played on paper...otherwise teams like Spain, England & Italy were not back in their own country,
