You post about every 140+ ball here and forget to mention great performances by medium pacers.

Very convenient.

Its pure bias, and there's nothing wrong with it but it's also true that you definitely don't care about medium pacers but the it doesn't mean that Dravid /Rohit are also gonna follow your methodology, medium pacers are respected in cricket.

If he likes 140* bowlers ,he takes effort to watch them and write about them, what has stopped others to write about medium pacers.

Will Umran play today? This is probably the most difficult bowling ground.

I hope so - what a fantastic test it would be for him to bowl against this batting line up.

All jokes aside - it is a testament to the quality of Indian bowling that we could keep them quiet for two T20s. There is serious quality in the England team.

Yes most of the bowlers have been very good. Bhuvi has been great with the new ball. The batters have shown attacking intent too. Catching has been abysmal and we could use some stronger finishes especially at Trent Bridge.

ODI is the easiest format for bowlers to debut. That's how Prasidh is being groomed. Same should be done to Umran. T20s are merciless, and with Umran on such a pitch, it's either 3/20 or 0/50 mostly.

The hierarchy for selecting pacers should be as follows -

1. Pace with accuracy and skills - Bumrah, Shami

2. Medium pacers with accuracy and skills. - Bhuvi, Siraj etc

3. Medium pacers with control

4. 140+ kph pacers with no skills or control.

140+ kph pacers with no skills are absolutely the worst kind of bowlers, will always pick a Bhuvi over Wahab.

Same goes for Avesh, Bhuvi is better.

You forgot the 5th category. Medium pacers with no control or limited skills

I'd anyday have 4th category over 5th specially in conditions like Aus where pace is rewarded

I hope Avesh's action, training and diet are being given top priority.  Bowls a heavier ball than anyone else in the squad and s tough to hit. More impressed by him than Umran tbh.

If Avesh is fit then he can be an asset in T20s.

His whole issue is fitness.

He is looking fit today and has bowled a heavy ball plus bowled in good areas.

We need tall hit the deck pacers in Australia.
