rkt.india
Watched all 4 overs by Arjun today in replay. Must say didn't expect him to bowl the he did today. He swung the new bowl prodigiously in the evening sun, bowled some really sharp bouncers and accurate yorkers. He looks sharp. If he keeps improving like this, he might even play for India in two years time and he can bat too. One technical issue I see in his bowling is he straightens his body too early while running which means his centre of mass is a bit forward on landing, not in straight line which leads to front foot landing on toes instead of heel which leads to lack of braced front foot. Back foot should land on toes while front foot on heel to create an efficient kinetic chain and transfer of energy. Need4Speed, Mosher and Vk1 3 Link to comment

He looses it there in his run up, don't think he's landing on front foot toes His penultimate leap to impulse is messy express bowling, Need4Speed and Mosher 3 Link to comment

He straightens before impulse stride that's why by the time his backfoot lands, his upper body goes a bit forward position instead of being aligned with the lower body. At impulse stride, upper body should be arching back a bit so that by the time backfoot lands, both upper and lower bodies are in alignment. Like this. While Umran has tendency to jump out. Both are not perfect but still quite good. Braced front foot can help increase pace and control. Link to comment
rkt.india
Arjun got two wickets on yorkers and two on bouncers and SMS Jaipur is a slowish pitch in nature. Mosher 1 Link to comment
express bowling
Watched all 4 overs by Arjun Tendulkar in the match replay. How does this fast bowler not get a single game for MI even after they were eliminated and how had he been generally omitted from Mumbai's white ball teams ???? The first thing one notices about him is that he has a pretty well developed stock ball ... a channel ball that moves away from the left hander and he can bowl it over and over again. Next thing is his aggressive attitude and run up. It's like he really wants to bowl quick and blow away the opposition batters. There is a lot of energy and intent. He has control over what he is trying to do ... and he is mostly trying to do the right things. Swinging channel balls upfront at pace .. sudden hostile bouncers .. continuous yorkers and attempted yorkers at the death. This guy is 6'3" and definitely atleast Fast-medium. It's even possible that he is genuinely fast, although difficult to say after watching just 4 overs. Want him to play IPL matches regularly and showcase what he has got as a quick bowler. P.S -- It is possible that he was having a dream match and he is not usually this good. But still there is a lot to like about his bowling. Probably only knockouts will be on tv with speed guns and his team won't be there. Goa lost today even after a dream spell of 4/10 in 4. What I believe is with Mumbai he wasn't getting games because of Dhawal, Deshpande, thakur and Avasthi. They advised him to play for Goa and get competitive game time and bowling. This Game experience will help him get games for MI in the new season and if he does well might be even back with Mumbai. Suhaan 1 Link to comment
